Happy Holidays!

Holiday hillsides
adorned with pines
lighted by candles
flickering in night.
Clementines in
stockings warmed
by fire logs
merry christmas,
merry christmas
with love from
Rachel's heart.

Merry Crimbo back to ya!

Merci for your lovely ornament, Rachel, which hangs on my Eterna-tree, in my foyer.

It's a little fiber optic xmas tree that took up permanent residence there, and I decorate it to match the holiday.

For some reason, it's still wearing rainbow-colored luaua leis from WAL-MART's summer celebrations.

Something had to come after Easter.

And the teeny holidays didn't work for us, so we just decided the tree would go to Hawaii, since we couldn't.

And now your lovely ornament is on it too, and I placed your poem on the foyer table, right next to a bear on a sled that's supposed to be made out of popsicle sticks.

Except the popsicle sticks are metal. Or posing as metal. Or something.

But people can read your lovely poem as they come in freezing and making a mess of my floor.

Maybe it will keep them transfixed long enough for me to collar them and make them go back outside and shake off a few extra pounds of snow before re-entry.

Or is that too Scroogey?

Haha, it doesn't sound scroogey! That's perfectly reasonable to me and glad to help in any way :) I love the idea of a year round tree. Especially one so festive as a fiber optic. Hope y'all are enjoying your day. Merry Merry
