A reality of the forest

Pines smell sweetly
after rain
comes.

Sap
clings to
palms when climbed.

Peak through needles
from canopy
branches.

Wash
off sap
with sea water.

Put away binoculars
and the
like.

Forest,
ocean and
shore are perfected.

Harbor's children know
when to
hibernate.
