You've done some very strong portraits lately.

I love the way the painting goes nutzoid with color in a very small space down at the bottom..

Matisse would soooo have had a crush on you if you had lived at the same time.

Just a soupcon of architecture.

Many of my favorite Matisses are like this: just a soupcon of structure...like a doorframe or a window.

As the excuse...the colors need somewhere to live...

Muchas gracias mi amigo :) I wish Matisse was around to have a crush on me. I could go for a guy like that. Maybe I can make a mini-matisse and carry him around in my pocket. Colors DO need someplace to live! <3
